The wind set I observed played a series of six different vocals. Although all the vocals were categorized as wind, each vocal had its ain particular manner and sound to it. The set consisted of three different participants. Paul Meyers, the guitar player and composer, Andy Eulau, the bassist, and Dave Rataczak, on membranophones. The vocals performed were entitled & # 8220 ; Love for Sale & # 8221 ; by Cole Porter, & # 8220 ; Once I Loved & # 8221 ; by Antonio Carlos Jobim, & # 8220 ; Stars & # 8221 ; by Paul Meyers, & # 8220 ; Blues for Mel & # 8221 ; besides by Paul Meyers, & # 8220 ; Last Night When We Were Young & # 8221 ; by Harold Arlen, and & # 8220 ; Samba Novo & # 8221 ; by Luis Eca.
The first vocal, & # 8220 ; Love for Sale & # 8221 ; had a changeless pacing. It besides had a slow, funky, and crude sound to it, which would do it fall under the blues class. The guitar player seemed to be improvizing during his solo. The drummer was largely utilizing the clang cymbal and the high chapeau. He was besides moving as the timer in this piece. The 2nd vocal entitled & # 8220 ; Once I Loved & # 8221 ; was a standard melody from Brazil. It had a similar sound as & # 8220 ; Love for Sale, & # 8221 ; nevertheless one of the differences was
