Captain Ahab in the fresh Moby Dick is rather a character. He is the Captain of the whaling ship the Pequod and is out on a ocean trip to kill the great white giant named Moby Dick. Throughout his journey on sea, Ahab maintains concentrate on one thing, and merely one thing, killing Moby Dick. It comes to demo throughout the narrative that a closed-minded adult male is blind to his milieus.
On a whaling mission before, Ahab & # 8217 ; s leg was bitten off by the white giant, and of all time since so, Ahab has focused merely on the retaliation he will acquire when he kills the giant. A lesson is to be learned from Ahab. Keep your eyes open to those around you, and other things that are in your life. If you dwell on the negatives, and of retaliation, you & # 8217 ; re life becomes a waste. Family and friends do non desire to be around you, and you will go an unhappy being. Like Ahab, we all have something that bothers us, which picks at our head, but unlike Ahab, we have to travel on with life.
