Western lowland Gorillas
My first Ape I saw at the LA Zoo was the LowLand Gorilla. Because of the conditions and temperature. the Gorrilas were non active as the stayed in the shadiness and off from detecting eyes. Chimpanzees

[ see pic below ] There was besides a twosome of lone wolfs around trees and shrubs merely sitting and basking the Sun. There was besides a babe Pan troglodytes that was near to its female parent. He was a funny babe. ever singing aroung his ma. ne’er rolling excessively far though. As the Pan troglodytes babe settles down. he climbs his female parents back for some training and touching.

Goldon Cheeked Gibbon
Small in size. non bantam though. As I observed the small monkeys in their mini home ground. they all stared like I was the monkey in a coop. Te Gibbons even got near plenty to where we were face to confront with merely the fencing between us. The menagerie had many males and merely two females. The males are darker pelt with gilded pelt on their cheeks. suggest the name they were given. while the feemales all tend to be complete gold pelt. I spotted a babe and its female parent singing on a vine together so they can maintain warm. The babe didnt like his female parent groom him at all. he kept swatting her manus off so he could prepare himself. The babe used both custodies and pess to rub himself everyplace he needed to be scratched. The Gibbons are Quarapedal. utilizing both custodies and pess to mount and leap vines. The remainder of the Gibbons were all huddled by the warming lamps provided by the menagerie.

Kikuyu Colobus Monkey

Mandrill
These baboons are a batch smaller than Is thought they would be. These apes use the method of Knuckle Walking like Gorillas and other apes use. These Mandrills have a colourful olfactory organ and face. has white beneath the eyes. Although these Mandrills use four legs to walk. they merely use their custodies to open and rupture a paper bag.

Ringing Tailed Lemur
These lemurs arnt really active because of the cold. All the Lemurs are huddled together under the warming lamps for excess heat. Whats particular about these lemurs is the manner they use their dress suits. Every lemur had each of their dress suits wrapped around each other to protect from a little zephyr. They besides used their dress suits as a kind of pillow to assist them kip more comfortably. Their stripped dress suits are really noticable in the dark small cave that they have for themseleves. Black Howler Monkey
Sadly when I approached the coop. this monkey was asleep so one couldnt hear his celebrated voice that can be heard for stat mis off. From what I was able to see was that they are pure black with big anterior nariss and huddle towards the warming lamp as they sleep. These monkeys are Quadrapedal utilizing weaponries and legs to mount their subdivisions.

Spider Monkey
These small cats were really diffident and cold as they huddled together in the really back of the coop. Every so frequently a little caput would start out of the hill of pelt. These small cats use their dress suits to keep on to the subdivision while they climbed the subdivision for more support.

Emperor Tamarin
