Creative Writing: The Fossilized Story of Mr. Allosaurus
As the clay starts to environ me I am no longer able to take a breath. I
catch my last pant of air and experience a few last raindrops fall on my caput. I say
adieu to my Earth and my land. My oral cavity and lungs fill with clay that travels
throughout my system. I am blinded by the wet black dirt that has been
downpoured on so difficult that it has become lifelessly. I am scared. Slowly inch
by inch I sink farther and deeper in the clay. My life will come to an terminal shortly,
and I, the last leftover animal of my sort, will go nonextant. I struggle
and battle to last, but the downcoming clay has to great of a force. I feel
the clay take the topographic point of my bosom, and I die. I feel stunned and baffled. I
ever thought I would decease of famishment, non from really seeking to catch my
quarry.
For 1000s of old ages I have lived belowground. I have become a
petrified dodo. All the flesh and tegument has either rotted away, or was eaten
by bugs and other things belowground. All that remains of me are my castanetss. I
became petrified, because when I was burried under the land all those old ages
the groundwater dissolved all my castanetss. They were so replaced, a molecule at
a clip, by the minerals in the H2O. This long procedure involved all these
tingly esthesiss. I felt odd for the longest clip, but now I & # 8217 ; m a new me!
About 900 old ages ago I received company from person up supra. His name
is Mr. Wolly Mammoth. Wolly died because of a volcanic eruption, and was
trapped in the combustion lava. He & # 8217 ; s my best brother and I was so glad he decided to
come articulation me. We ever talk about what we think goes on above us. Sometimes
the Earth rumblings in a unusual quiver. Wolly and I call these quivers
Earth shingles.
100,000 old ages subsequently and my friend Wolly has left me. He was dug up and
carried away by these & # 8220 ; humans. & # 8221 ; I guess this is what these animals are called.
I & # 8217 ; ve heard reverberations in the land from younger dodos that the & # 8220 ; worlds & # 8221 ; killed
them and buried them. One dark me and Wolly were speaking about these worlds
coming a excavation us up one twenty-four hours and seting us in their museums. It was our
dream and today Wolly & # 8217 ; s dream came true. I heard that the worlds were coming
back tomorrow to delve some more. I hope my dream will besides be fullfilled.
It is my lucky twenty-four hours! In the words of Pinnochio & # 8220 ; dreams truly do come
true. & # 8221 ; I heard that one from the dodo of the giant that ate Pinnochio. I was
put in The Museum Of Science And Industry in Illinois. And think what, Wolly
was at that place, excessively. We were hung from the ceiling by wires, so we went autumn, for
everyone to see. I merely love being a dodo!
