A Summary of? The Diaries of Adam and Eve?

This drama takes topographic point in a beautiful, cryptic garden. Two characters make up

this drama, Adam and Eve. These two characters are wholly incognizant of their milieus,

neither one of them knows who the other one is. They know that it is their occupation to call

everything they see. The lone manner they portion their feelings is through their journals. The

drama is brought away through the Hagiographas in their journals. We learn that Eve is really full

of herself. She thinks that she knows everything. She will non even listen to what Adam

has to state. She persist on calling everything in the garden, and eating all of the fruit.

Adam swears she will eat all the fruit, and they will hold nil left to eat. Adam feels

that Eve is a plague. She is like his shadow following him about and trouble oneselfing him. He

would instead sit by himself and bask all the beautiful milieus without sharing them

without her. Adam is more of the conservative type. He feels that he has no say so with

anything. He says that Eve has to hold her manner. In the first act, the two characters are

invariably reasoning. They disagree because they both think they are right. Adam gets really

aggravated with Eve because she names all the animate beings and sights in the garden without

inquiring him. He says she names them because they look like it would be named that. Eve

longs to hold the most cognition of all. She tells Adam they can derive that cognition

by eating the apple from the out tree. The snake has informed her of this fact.

Adam warns Eve

that she must non eat the apple, or God will penalize them. Eve eats the

apple despite Adam? s warning. This ends the first act.

In the 2nd act, the attitude toward each other alterations. Adam still blames Eve

for acquiring kicked out of the garden, but he learns to love her. Eve besides learns to love

Adam for all his mistakes. She learns that even though he is non perfect, she loves him. Eve

has a babe. Adam does non cognize what this animal can be. He thinks, at first, the

animal is a fish. He does non understand why Eve is taking such good attention of a fish. He

disproves this theory and decides that the animal is a bear because it has hair. Now the

animal calls and makes all sorts of noises, and Eve spends all of her clip with this

animal. Then the unexpected happens, and another animal appears. Adam can non

understand where Eve finds these animals. He has searched all over the wood and has

non found any hint of this animal. Through all of this clip, Eve says she loves Adam

despite his ignorance. Time passes on, Adam discoveries that these animals are babes.

Adam and Eve have many other kids together. They are populating merrily together.

More clip base on ballss on, and Eve is the first to decease. Adam learns through all of his adversities

that it was better populating outside the garden with her than inside the garden without her.

The drama ends with Adam sing Eve? s grave, puting down a ruddy rose.

In my sentiment, I wish the characters would hold talked to each other more.

Despite the fact that this was a two character drama, I think it was reasonably good. It gave me

a better apprehension of the narrative of Adam and Eve.
