Set in typical Shepard manner, he creates what can be described as a typical, tally of the mill American household. Following, we meet Bradley, the one-legged boy of Halie and Dodge. He cut it off in a monster concatenation sawing accident. Shortly after, Vince shows up from New York with his girlfriend, Shelley. He is the grandson of Halie and Dodge. He stopped by to see them on his manner to see his male parent. The eldritch thing is that cipher recognizes Vince. This leaves merely Dodge and Vince entirely, sitting on the sofa. Dodge gives the house over to Vince. This is symbolic of seting the household in the custodies of the lone adult male capable of taking attention of themselves.
Many proposterous events occur in this drama, as I have outlined. The more you learn about this household, the more dis-functional they appear. Dodge, an evidently beaten and tired adult male, did hold some principle. We find out at the terminal, that he was unwilling to decease without go throughing the torch, so to talk. He appeared to be beyond his clip, and I figured that there had to be a ground for him to wake up in the forenoon. He was looking for a suited adult male to go through the torch on to, and he eventually found it in Vince. Thus, stoping the chapter of a household that can be summed up in one word: dysfunctional.
