Warrior Cultures: The Samurai

Through the ages every civilization has had their warriors. These warriors have defended and fought for their land, places, states, and profoundly held beliefs ( either political or religious ) . The samurai were self-proclaimed warriors. & # 8220 ; The members achieve their reputes by contending, even killing & # 8221 ; ( Bohannan 1992 ) . Possibly the most interesting warrior civilizations in the universe is that of the Nipponese Samurai.

Japan has a history that dates back 1000s of old ages. Scientists believe the Nipponese people descended from many groups that migrated to the islands from other parts of Asia, including China and Korea. Fishermen, huntsmans and husbandmans inhabited the Nipponese islands. Scientists believe a Caucasic race called the Ainu were the first dwellers of what is now Japan.
