In the short narrative, Goodman Brown leaves his married woman Faith, who is competently named, behind to travel on a journey into the forest to run into with the Satan ( 102 ) . Along his journey he comes across several members of his town and household. He besides witnesses these people taking portion in an evil worship service. Goodman Brown was really fond of his married woman. At the beginning of the narrative he says that he will cleaving to her skirts and follow her to heaven. ( 102 ) .
