I feel that I would hold enjoyed the book more if I had read it at a ulterior point and clip in my life when I have the ability to associate to it more. Despite the fact that this book was obviously written for a more mature and experient audience I still enjoyed reading it. This book was a positive influence on me because I can see myself populating my life comparable to the manner Bridget Jones is populating her life in this book. My favourite character is this book was Bridget Jones. I admire her because I think she has a realistic and reasonable manner of covering with her jobs. For illustration, the manner in which she dealt with the alleged love of her life, Daniel, showed me that she possessed a really strong inner character. Unlike most females, she listened to the advice given to her by her friends and she remained strong against the sexual desires proposed to her by Daniel. She had a curious manner in which she realized how corrupt some people are. Another characteristic that is applaudable is Bridget Jones has set ends and is ever reminding herself of the ends to be attained. Some of her accomplishable ends were to lose weight, halt smoke, and to halt buying so many lottery tickets and before each diary entry she would name precisely how many of each of the she failed or succeeded to make. Even though Bridget Jones was a lbano 2fictional character I still felt that she was credible and realistic, as were the other characters in this book. Helen Fielding did a applaudable occupation on capturing my involvement in Bridget Jones & # 8217 ; s Diary. She did so by utilizing irony. During the novel, Bridget Jones used irony to alleviate the tenseness in a tight state of affairs that she might hold been in, particularly with her female parent who was literally a baffled scold traveling through a alleged midlife crisis. ations such as the duologue she used when talking with despairing, nescient people like Daniel. This was instead humourous because it normally left him experiencing either truly dense or confused.

Another technique that captured my involvement was Helen Fielding & # 8217 ; s usage of wit. Majority of the characters in the book had a ill sense of wit that I found diverting to read. Humor was merely used at the proper times and even at the times in which the characters were non being humourous a batch of things seemed amusing. Possibly this is because I can non yet associate to any of the characters or possibly because I can see myself in their places. Anyhow, this is how my involvement was kept throughout most of the book. My favourite scene in this book was when Bridget Jones and Daniel Cleaver exchange a series of e-mails. This was the portion at which Daniel tells Bridget that she has forgotten her skirt and that is non proper work garb, evidently mentioning to the length of her skirt. The exchanging of e-mails merely Tells me how hapless people who want some can be. I mean what & # 8217 ; s the point of blowing clip on stupid electronic mails that imply that there is an attractive force between two people? At that age shouldn & # 8217 ; t these people act maturer?
