Society. as a whole. has changed over the centuries. nevertheless. sometimes non for the better. Macbeth says himself. that at one point in his life. killing haunted him. but he has now become so accustomed to slay that it is everyday to him. He now kills without scruple in order to procure his place on the throne. no affair how bootless it is. Macbeth. at the terminal of the drama. dies without the award he one time had. but dies as a felon and a treasonist to Scotland.
In Act Five. scene seven ( the last scene of the calamity ) . Macbeth is cornered in his palace by the English ground forces. He watches as they continue to progress towards his palace. and prepares to contend anyone who dares challenge him. He kills Siward’s boy. merely to farther convince himself that no one shall tumble him from his throne. However. Macduff finds Macbeth and kills him. conveying his caput to Malcolm and the remainder of the English ground forces. This scene serves as the stoping and declaration to this drama. to put things right in the fictional narrative. and to solidify the subject of the narrative. Macbeth was the illustration to all Elizabethans to non upset the balance of the existence because if it was disrupted. the existence has the power to put everything back to norm whilst penalizing the felon of the high offenses.
