The Scarlet missive is a book filled with enigma. deep idea and symbolism left for reading. This book of love affair contains Acts of the Apostless of offense. retaliation. and wickednesss for the 1s that we love. This book written by the authoritative writer Nathaniel Hawthorne has a batch of equivocal characters. Hawthorne used his characters to portray sarcasm and moral ambiguity. The most challenging character I chose that displays moral ambiguity is Rev. Arthur Dimmesdale. His character is reasonably interesting being that he is a sublime curate and an fornicator.

We learn that Dimmesdale is a premier illustration of an equivocal character because he doesn’t have the bravery to be the right individual and do the right thing. He lacked so much bravery he couldn’t come out to the populace and squeal his incorrect making.
