The subject in The Welcome Table is about an old lady who merely wanted to idolize. before she makes that journey place to be with her Godhead But she experiences prejudice along the manner she went into a church that was for Whites merely and was met with favoritism for holding the nervus to come in into their church. . The subject besides shows the discourtesy and haughtiness that they have for this old black lady. The white people in this church showed no compassion to the old black lady because she was black and had trespassed on what they consider was for Whites merely.

A ) Third individual omniscient this is when the individual stating the narrative is non in it and they are giving their point of position on what is traveling on in the narrative. They know and can associate to the charters in the narrative. B ) Tone is the attitude in which the author is stating the narrative. You can place this while she is stating you about what is traveling on in the narrative. Ironic tone is a contradiction that is between what is expected to go on and what will go on a narrative as the author wants you to believe. Alice Walker shows us that no affair who you are God still loves us all as one. How this affects the subject is because this is written in 3rd individual omniscient and she has cognition of what is traveling on with the old lady while she being thrown out of a church.
