The rubric of the piece of literature I chose to read was Tiger Eyes,

by Judy Blume. This book contained 205 pages. My pick for

reading this book was that I enjoyed reading many of her plants

when I was younger. She ever had a manner of associating good with

the younger coevalss, which draws me to her books rather

frequently.

The chief supporter in Tiger Eyes was Davey Wexler,

a 15 twelvemonth old miss from Atlantic City. Davey? s headstrong ways

and her beautiful heroicness gave her a alone individualism

which grew through out the book. Another chief character in

this narrative was Wolf, a immature adult male who enjoyed stone mounting.

His alone ways besides gave him an about mystical inheritor which

fascinated Davey. The last chief character in this novel was

Gwendolyn Wexler, Davey? s female parent. Her utmost love and

support for Davey through out the novel was her chief function.

In Atlantic City, on a hot summer dark, Adam Wexler

was the victim in a clasp up of his 7-Eleven shop. He was shooting

several clip in the thorax. The attacker was ne’er found. Davey

Wexler was at that place to see it all, keeping her deceasing male parent in

her weaponries, helpless and frightened. These are the memories that

faced Davey every twenty-four hours. Giving the household clip to retrieve,

Davey, her female parent, and her younger brother visited her male parent? s

sister in Los Alamos, New Mexico. While there Davey met Wolf,

an adventuresome stone climber, and many other new friends.

With their aid Davey is able to get the better of the fright and desperation

she had encountered from her male parent? s decease and was able to

see the wo

rld once more as someplace where good escapades

could happen.

My male parent? s decease was the most atrocious experience

of my life. As he laid in my weaponries, hemorrhage and still hanging on

to life, there was nil I could make to salvage him. After the

funeral, all I could make was kip. I did non desire to open my

eyes, for fright would devour all of me. I was so afraid of

everything that I slept with a bread knife under my pillow for

protection. When we arrived in New Mexico, it was still difficult to

trade with it all. Although my female parent encouraged me to seek and

explore, I was still upset and highly angry. Then, run intoing

Wolf gave me a new hope and realisation of it all. He showed

me that life was a true escapade and that populating it to its full

potency was the best manner to populate. I know what I felt for him

was non love, but a strong connexion between the

experiences that we had endured. His male parent was,

unluckily, deceasing of malignant neoplastic disease. The support that we gave each

other made us stronger and more able to confront the universe each

twenty-four hours. If it was non for Wolf, along with Reuben and Jane, I would

non be able to see life without fright.

Tiger Eyes was an highly realistic novel, with

characters which you could about transform yourself into.

Through out the narrative, each character metamorphousized into

a stronger, brave, more capable being. It is those

transmutations which give the book its fantastic, and about

stalking actuality. This is one of my all clip favourite novels.

Each clip I read it the experience is new, different, and better

than that of the first.
