I wasn? t existent clear of what really had merely occurred, but I did cognize that I was in
awful hurting. I laid beside the supercross path for at least 20 proceedingss replying the
inquiries of really eager Emergency Medical forces.
? Leave me entirely! I will be all right. ? I said to the medical cat that was tugging at
my chest defender.
If there is one thing that I can non stand is 20 medical people seeking to take all
of your apparels off for a small cut or scraping. As I was put on a backboard and taken to the
ambulance I couldn? T aid inquiring what had went incorrect. All I remember seeing was
my organic structure toppling with my motorcycle to an disconnected arrest.
I laid in the ambulance for what seemed similar yearss. All I could hear were engines
revving at high Rpm? s and the boom of the crowd when person styled for the crowd. It
was really put offing to cognize that I was in the dorsum of an Ambulance at my first
professional supercross. The lone thing I could make was play the past events over and over
in my caput.
I couldn? T believe it as I looked at a glistening gold and silver card. This card signified
all of the rights and privileges of a professional supercrosser. Now I would hold the right
to race with the universes best.
? Dad look it eventually came! ? I shouted.
My pa looked at me with cockamamie smile and said? Well you knew it was coming, you
won your 25th race last month. ?
As I stood there with a smiling bigger than the Sun on my face I said? I know but I

cogwheel and my lucky Bart Simpson doll and headed out the door. I won my first race the twenty-four hours
I sat my Bart Simpson on my handlebars between races. I have done it of all time since to convey
me good fortune. The drive to Charlotte Motor Speedway was what I thought a trip that
would ne’er stop. As we entered the pit country I was given a particular base on balls to have on around my
cervix. I couldn? t halt looking at the card that said? Professional Supercross Rider? . The
cavity was filled with race drivers walking about and speaking to assorted people while there
mechanics worked difficult in the hopes of conveying place a triumph.
I walked approximately, speaking to few people as I tried to acquire usage to this new environment.
My tummy felt like a squeezed orange when I heard the announcer state? Is everybody

engines roar as 250 riders bring out at that place endowment and travel to work! ? When I heard this I

medium size leap I laid the motorcycle sideways in the air, and for the first clip in my life I had
tonss of cameras blinking at me like stars in the dark sky.
I rode easy to the cavity country where my male parent waited with a immense smiling on his face.
? I can? t believe you have done so good in your first supercross event! ?
I smiled and said? Well I still have to race the chief event to truly do my
grade. ?
I got away of my mechanical admiration and sat down to eat a banana. As I peeled back
the outer shell of this xanthous fruit of admiration, I realized how aroused I was and could non
bare to eat. I was holding a new emotion every five seconds. It was like a dream that you
ne’er want to wake from. Here I was, a Professional rider at a professional event. This
was the dream that my friends and I buzzed about when we raced as amateurs. I about
felt guilty because I am acquiring to populate our one time shared dream.
I was rapidly rattled out of my ideas as I heard the announcer pealing out, ? We
necessitate the 250 Class to present for the chief event in 10 proceedingss? .
I was so nervous that I felt like a long tailed cat in a room full of swaying chairs. I
am non certain but at the clip I think that I was more frightened than anything. My male parent
rapidly handed me my siting cogwheel and told me to set on my race face. This is a term used
to acquire a rider into his rushing attitude. My weaponries were more shaking than a old clip rinsing

machine. As I approached the presenting country, all of the ideas of winning and losing were
forced out of my caput. I knew that it was clip to do my grade in the universe of

comes the best of the best out once more for the chief event. Winner takes all! ? , the announcer
shouted.
My tummy squeezed more than of all time. Equally much as I wanted this twenty-four hours to come I
was desiring it to be all over with. I felt like a small male child in a room full of superheros.
At the beginning of the race I started speaking my manner through leaps. ? O.K. I am
traveling to make good. all I have to make is concentrate. ? when I said this, the gate dropped. The
first clip I came around my cavity board told me to settle down that I was in 4th. This is

taking images of me. ? I was amazed by how the crowd roared as I profiled over the
ternary leap. It was rather astonishing. why wouldn? t it be, it hurled me over 65 pess off the
land. as I settled down I realized that the race would be over shortly and I have done
rather good. ? Merely two laps left and here comes the finish line two-base hit. Ooooh nooo! ! ! !
ahhhh! ! ! ! ! ! ? I found out that when I was set downing off the finish line duplicate the defending
supercross title-holder, Jeremy Mcgrath, landed on top of me. This hurting was weirder than all
others I have felt. I truly didn? T experience the hurting in the physical sense at first. I felt as if my
back had merely collapsed. It wasn? T boulder clay I tried to stand and return to my motorcycle that I felt the
tormenting hurting of four chapped vertebrae.
? Leave me entirely! I will be all right. ? I said to the medical cat that was tugging at
