A Catcher In The Rye

This novel is a first individual narrative novel. The chief character Holden Caulfield tells the novel. The first few chapters are about how the private school he attended Gave him the axe. for non using himself in his categories after several warnings.

Holden was reasonably upset about the whole trade because he knew that his parents would be disappointed with him for acquiring kicked out of another school.

That same dark Holden got onto a battle with his roomie, now really angry Holden leaves the school earlier than he is supposed to. He catches a train to the metropolis about eleven at dark though can t travel place yet because his parents wear T know that he got the axe yet and he doesn T fell like stating them merely yet so he decides to remain in a hotel until his parents expect him place for Christmas holiday.

When he arrives in the metropolis he hops on a cab to a bum hotel for the dark and as he is entirely in his room he feels lonely and kind of depressed so he goes to the saloon in the hotel for a drink. All the people in the saloon make him even more down so he decides to name it a dark. On the manner to his room, in the lift the lift attender offers to direct him up a Hooker for the dark. Bing a virgin Holden decides to take him up on the Hooker. Once the Hooker makes it up to his room he gets cold pess and decides non to hold sex with her and merely talk. The Hooker gets huffy at Holden for blowing her clip and foliages. Minutess subsequently the Hooker s procurer comes looking for money and finally ends up crushing up Holden.

The undermentioned twenty-four hours Holden calls up an old girlfriend Sally Hues for a day of the month. On

the day of the month they get into a minor statement with each other and Holden really tells her that she is a hurting in the buttocks. That was the terminal of that day of the month.

That dark Holden meets an old friend at the saloon and gets really, really intoxicated and realizes that he has spent all his money and is really down.
