John Proctor, in my eyes was all around a reasonably good adult male. Except

for the fact that he committed criminal conversation with Abigail Williams, when

she was his family retainer. Proctor hates lip service, and his

concealed wickedness causes a great trade of moral torment within him. I believe

that he had good in him, because he wasn? T about to allow Abigail acquire

off with prevarication, aching others, or interrupting up his household.

Proctor confessed to perpetrating criminal conversation to salvage his married woman. That

was a large measure for him. I feel that it showed love for his married woman. His married woman

had to travel and lie, but it was to salvage him. The whole state of affairs is

confounding to me. Abigail should hold merely told the truth and

confessed her love for John. I do non like her character at all. John

stood strong, though, like a adult male of his nature should hold. If I was

him I would hold cracked. He did check some, but non like I would

have. I would hold jumped on Abigail and beat her down. It? s non

right to lie like she did.

A moral quandary occurred with Proctor over the determination to

confess or non to squeal to witchcraft. I think he sh

confessed. Then, he would still hold his household ; his married woman, his male childs, and

the babe. He chose to salvage his name. In my eyes, that was selfish,

because now his household is fatherless, and has to endure. Sure, if he

would hold confessed he would no longer hold his name, but couldn? T

he travel off? It might catch up with him someday, but he would

still hold his household and be able to travel on populating his life. What is

Elizabeth Proctor, his married woman, to make now? She has to raise two male childs and

a babe all entirely. John should hold confessed.

The stoping of the film truly made me huffy. Abigail should

hold confessed her love for John and saved his life. She didn? T

though. I guess that is how it truly went back so, in Salem.

Although, I do non hold with the result, I do believe that it was

brave of Proctor to give his life. I think deep down Proctor knew that

if he died, Abigail would pay for what she has caused. Abigail merely

wanted John Proctor to love her, but now that he is dead she can

ne’er have him. She will be in hurting for the remainder of her life, because of

what she did. Invigilate knew that excessively.
