The word Phoenix had symbolize immortality, but for the people in Fahrenheit 451, their lone hope was that the Phoenix would be burn out, and be reborn once more. The myth of the Phoenix gave optimism to the life of Montag, to the books, and to the universe of Fahrenheit 451. The universe was now deceasing, and cipher seemed to care, because the authorities had brainwashed the people. It was a state of affairs, where non merely the brave, but the 1s who can believe for themselves, who can assist interrupt the authorities s control.

The life Montag had been a rough route. He thought he had a good life, because he enjoyed his occupation, and was happy. Soon Montag discovered that he was non happy at all, and that his life was nil. His married woman Mildred did non love him at all, and his lone friend ( that he could retrieve ) Clarisse died in a auto clang. All of sudden, he was non happy, but he did non cognize why. He thought possibly because his married woman had pulled the fire dismay on him, but truly it was he did non love her at all. & # 8220 ; It s unusual, I don t miss her at all ( 155 ) & # 8221 ; Montag had unsteadily about his matrimony, because matrimony was suppose to be bonded with love, but with his matrimony love was nonextant and nowhere to be seen. His life had died, when his married woman Mildred pulled the dismay and had told the firemen that Montag had books. To Montag, the books was like a sweet piece of confect. He did non cognize why he liked them, but he ever wanted more. But when Captain Beatty forced Montag to fire his ain house, Montag s psyche had died, but so resurrected. His life which was suppose to be happy was firing right in forepart of his eyes. How dry, that Montag was a fireman himself but like the Phoenix, Montag rose from his ain ashes. Montag was now reborn, because he knew his life was incorrect, and that the universe was incorrect. He did non cognize why it was incorrect, but he knew that he had to make something about it. He started that by firing Captain Beatty into & # 8220 ; a charred wax doll ( 119 ) & # 8221 ; . Montag now had the feeling of hope, non much since he believed he could non make anything. But Montag had now broken the control of the authorities and was utilizing the books as his assistance.

How dry, in the existent universe, people were ever speaking about how people wasted paper, which mean blowing trees, but in the universe of Fahrenheit 451, every tree that had been cut down, and was usage for books was now being burned off. To the people of Fahrenheit 451 & # 8220 ; books show the pores the face of life, ( 83 ) & # 8221 ; . The people were scared and unsure about books, so society decided to engage firemen to fire the books. Although most people were scared of books, the books acted like their ain Phoenix by giving people some hope. Peoples like Montag, and Faber. If

it wasn T for the jurisprudence of forbiding books, Montag might hold ne’er seen the visible radiation, and if wasn T for the old adult female firing herself with books, Montag might hold seen what the books really meant to people, hence the books themselves have been reborn. Ironic, that books were made to be read, but even without reading, Montag was able to see what they meant to society.

The universe of Fahrenheit 451 WAS rather different from the universe now. Alternatively of people contending for equal rights, people were already equal. Equal in everything from physical abilities to mental abilities. No job right? But one invariable job was everyone were ever seeking to perpetrate self-destruction. They tried this, because life in the universe of Fahrenheit 451 was like snake pit, because cipher was allowed to believe, show their thoughts, or to bask life. It seemed the universe had no hope in changing, because the authorities thought that they had destroyed the chief force against them, books. But the people themselves were optimistic about populating a better universe, and now had formed an confederation to assist reconstruct the universe. Montag was one of them, he and many others believed a new universe with individualism. All a sudden the Phoenix symbolized the self-destructions, the books and hope. If it wasn T for the self-destructions, the books, the hope, many people in Fahrenheit 451 would be still populating in a incubus, because they would populate in a universe, where they would populating a life that was controlled by person. Like the old expression goes out of the old and in with the new truly fitted as the slogan for the universe of Fahrenheit 451. Many people were deceasing because they merely wanted to get away from the universe, but some believed that if they die, a new universe will be born with individualism, trusting this clip the universe would non wing excessively near to the Sun.

Hope was a word, many people used to assist them win in something, but for the people in Fahrenheit 451, the word Phoenix was the driving force that would assist them wing over the fire. This was a universe, which many people had hoped to populate in, because in this universe nil happened, and that was the job. Nothing did go on. Nothing. It was a universe where being equal had a monetary value, a monetary value which many people would ne’er desire, their individualism. How dry, although the authorities tried difficult to command the people, it was a myth that came and helped steer the people through the manner. A myth that came from books, that were now being burned. It was a myth which people were non allowed to read about, but at the terminal, the myth over came all obstructions and now had brightened the Sun for many. This event had helped turn out that non everyone could every be equal, because there would ever be people who would compose the other manner.
