WILLIAM BLAKE

William Blake was born on 1757. He grew up in the center of London.

but the tiger is really experient. Experience is one of the traits that helps the tiger

with all of his bad traits. The tiger is the immorality of what the Godhead makes. The tiger

is really experient but in the incorrect manner. It is experience in the incorrect manner

because it uses it s experience for evil things. The image of the tiger is really

frightful and non pleasant. The tiger is really barbarous in one manner or the other and does

non care excessively much about other things or other people.

In the verse form The Sick Rose, the rose symbolizes experience. The unseeable

worm symbolizes the unhappiness. The unhappiness like a disease in the rose, that spreads

through like a illness. The unhappiness is like a broken bosom except 10 times as

worse.

In the first stanza of The Lamb William Blake inquiries the lamb. William

Blake asks the lamb who created him. Small lamb who made thee? /Doust 1000

know who made thee? ( 1-2 ) . Blake goes on to inquire the lamb who gave him nutrient,

shelter and vesture. Gave thee life and command thee provender, / By the watercourse and O er the

Mead ; / Gave thee vesture of delectation, /softest vesture wooly bright ; ( 3-6 ) . William

Blake is merely inquiring the lamb if it knows who gave him everything he needs. He

wants to cognize who provided him with the nessities of life. Towards the terminal of the

stanza the shaper asks Little lamb who made thee? /Dost 1000 know who made

thee? ( 9-10 ) . William Blake is merely inquiring if the lamb knows who created this

animal.

In the 2nd stanza William Blake answers the inquiry that was asked in

the first stanza. William Blake says that he is traveling to state the lamb who made him.

Small lamb I ll state thee/ Little lamb I ll tell thee. ( 11-12 ) . Blake says that the

shaper is like a lamb. Even though the Godhead is all powerful Blake calls the cre

ator

a lamb because he is timid and easy traveling. The lamb is diffident and tame merely like a

kid. Therefore the Godhead is a like a kid.

For he calls himself a lamb,

He is mild and he is mild,

He became a small kid ;

I a kid and thou a lamb, ( 15-17 ) .

The last two lines Small lamb God bless thee./Little lamb God bless thee. ( 19-20 ) .

These two lines are stating the Godhead is blessing the lamb. The Godhead wants to

guarantee everything will be all right for the lamb. And that the lamb will beable to populate

a full life.

In the beginning of The Tiger the tiger is against God. Since the tiger is

against God, the tiger is the antonym of the lamb. The tiger is the antonym of love,

it symbolizes evil. Tiger! Tiger! firing bright/In the woods of the dark, ( 1-2 ) .

Blake so asks who made the tiger. What immortal manus or eye/ Could frame thy

fearful symmetricalness? ( 3-4 ) . Blake besides wonders how the tiger was made and who

made it. Blake asks how could person do such a animal and why would they

even sing making so. What the cock? what the concatenation? /In what furnace

was thy encephalon? ( 13-14 ) . Blake says that the tiger symbolizes evil in the eyes of

God. Since the tiger symbolizes evil all of the people are afraid of the tiger and did

non desire to be around it. Dare its deathly panics clasps? ( 16 ) . If God made the

lamb did he do the tiger. How could God of made the tiger because the tiger and

the lamb are the antonyms. The tiger is evil and the lamb is so guiltless, how could

In The Sick Rose Blake made the verse form so it seemed like the rose and the

unseeable worm were moving out a portion or a drama. In this verse form, it begins with the rose

going ill and ill. O Rose, thou art sick. ( 1 ) . The verse form so talks about

how the unseeable worm found out the roses felicity. Now that the worm has

found out the roses felicity he decides to destroy it and take it all off from the

rose. Has found out thy bed/Of ruby joy, ( 5-6 ) . The last two lines says, since

the unseeable worm found the roses felicity he destroys it. Since the unseeable

worm killed the roses felicity he besides killed the rose itself. And his dark secret

love/Does they life destroy. ( 7-8 ) .

In decision, William Blake uses symbolism in The Lamb, The tiger, and

The Sick Rose. In The Lamb, the lamb symbolizes pureness and artlessness. The

Godhead is believed to be a batch like the lamb in one manner or the other. The Godhead is

said to be diffident and mild merely like a kid. In The Tiger, the tiger is said to be the

antonym of the lamb. The tiger is made out to be the evil and the lamb is made out
