In The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Samuel Coleridge tells an exciting narrative of a adult male s wickedness against nature and his penitence and rapprochement. Coleridge describes the nature of each stage of the Mariner s wickedness through out the narrative. The narrative goes through many different ambiances as it tells about the Mariner s offense and penalty.

At first everything seemed to be really normal and pleasant. The ship was cheered on as it took off from the seaport and out to sea they went. The ship sailed on due south boulder clay it reached the line. The ship sailed with good air current and just conditions. Everything seemed perfect as the Sun came up from the left. The narrative all of a sudden changes as a storm drives the ship towards the South Pole.

With inclining masts and dunking bow,

As who pursued with cry and blow

Still treads the shadow of his enemy,

And send on bends his caput,

The ship drove fast, loud roared the blast,

And southbound aye we fled.

They ended up in a land of ice, where no populating thing was seen. There was ice everyplace environing the ship. It looked as if there was small opportunity for endurance. Then, out of know where a great sea bird, called the Albatross, appeared through the fog, and brought the mariners hope.

At length did cross and Albatross

Through the fog it came ;

As if it had been a Christian psyche

We hailed it in God s name.

The Albatross was proven to be of good portents and followed the ship as it returned northerly through the fog and ice. Then, out of he blue, the Mariner shoots down the Albatross with his crossbow. The shipmates cry out against the ancient Mariner, for killing the bird of good portents.

The just zephyr continued till it reached the line so it all of a sudden becalmed.

Down dropt the zephyr, the canvass dropt down,

Twas sad as sad could be ;

And we did talk merely to interrupt

The ambiance has changed as Coleridge tells about the Sun be bloody and the Albatross began to revenge. The mariners hang the dead Albatross Ar
